Zeekr X software update OS 1.3: release notes 

This page outlines the contents of software update OS 1.3, the third over-the-air (OTA) upgrade to the software for the Zeekr X.  

It includes refinements and new features for the battery, driving assistance and infotainment systems, as explained below.  

Installing the update

When your car is ready to receive the update, you'll see a notification pop up on the screen.

To install it, please make sure your car is in Basic or Advanced Privacy Mode. You can do this by selecting:

1. Settings (press the car icon on the left bottom corner)
2. Safety & Security
3. Privacy
4. Select Basic or Advanced Privacy Mode.

You’ll then receive all software updates as soon as they become available for your car.

Battery and Charging 

  • More accurate State of Charge (SOC) calculation:

  • Improved state of charge calculation for the Core model with a 49 kWh high-voltage battery.

Note: This only applies to this specific model. 

  • Light Control While Charging: Introduced a soft switch in the lighting settings, named "Lights on Charge Start," to control the exterior lights flashing while charging.

Note: Enabled by default; the setting is saved for each drive cycle.

Driving assistance systems

  • ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems): ELKA Optimization: Improved management of Emergency Lane Keeping Assist (ELKA) on narrow roads.

  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): Speed ​​adaptation before entering a curve, for smoother and safer driving.

  • Blind Spot Warning (BSD): The audio signal is now limited to two cycles instead of a constant audible warning, to reduce hearing discomfort.

  • CEM (Central Electronic Module): Interior Movement Sensor (IMS): Sensitivity adjustment to reduce false alarms caused by insects in the passenger compartment.

  • PAS (Parking Assistance System):360° Camera: Fixed an issue preventing the camera from activating after a long vehicle ignition time.

  • Black Vehicle Visualization: Optimized the visual appearance of black models in the AVM panoramic view.

  • Front Camera Heating: The front camera now heats the windshield area during cabin preheating if the outside temperature is below 10°C.

  • SAS (Steering Angle Sensor): Software Improvement: Enhanced software robustness to prevent invalid steering angle values ​​from being sent, ensuring greater reliability.

  • Auto Lane Change Assist (ALCA) function memory is now saved with each drive cycle.

Infotainment system 

  • Brake Regeneration Setting Memory: The brake regeneration setting is now retained between drive cycles.

  • Odometer Accuracy: optimized for more accurate odometer readings (practical when fitting different wheels as winter wheels.

  • Owner's Manuals: Now available in Norwegian and Italian.

  • Connectivity Fix: Resolved an occasional issue with GPS position and 4G/5G connectivity loss.

Other improvements 

DDM (Driver Door Module)

  • Door Unlock: Fixed an issue that prevented the driver's door from opening when powered by an external source and the key is disabled after a battery discharge.
