Zeekr 001 software update OS 1.4: release notes

We’ve rolled out a new software update designed to make your driving experience even smoother, smarter, and more convenient — especially as the colder season approaches. Here’s what’s improved:

Installing the update

When your car is ready to receive the update, you'll see a notification pop up on the screen.

To install it, please make sure your car is in Basic or Advanced Privacy Mode. You can do this by selecting:

1. Settings (press the car icon on the left bottom corner)
2. Safety & Security
3. Privacy
4. Select Basic or Advanced Privacy Mode.

You’ll then receive all software updates as soon as they become available for your car.

Smarter Start-up in Cold Weather

  • When the temperature drops below 10 °C, the front camera heating will now automatically turn on at the start of every drive.
    > This helps keep your camera free from ice or moisture so features like driver assistance work right away.

Better Climate Performance

  • We’ve enhanced the climate system to improve air distribution and increase drying performance in humid conditions.
    > This means a more comfortable cabin and clearer windows, faster.

Faster Connected Services

  • Your car is now connected to a new cloud system, making the app experience more reliable.
    > Remote commands such as lock/unlock and pre-conditioning now respond more quickly.

Easier Charging Control

  • Unlocking the car during AC charging now pauses charging automatically.
    > If the cable isn’t removed, charging resumes after 90 seconds — giving you more flexibility when unplugging.

Navigation, Audio & Interface Enhancements

  • Navigation: General stability and performance improvements.

  • Radio: Smoother DAB/FM transitions in areas with moderate coverage.

  • Charging Light: Your breathing-light preference is now saved, so it remembers your last setting.

  • Plus a number of minor bug fixes to keep everything running smoothly.

Feature Updates

  • Tire Pressure Alerts:

    • The TPMS warning icon is now yellow (instead of red) when pressure is slightly outside the normal range — so you can easily tell the difference between a warning and a critical alert.

  • Life Presence Detection:

    • The system won’t reactivate until your next drive.

    • It only triggers once all doors and the tailgate are fully closed.

  • Profile Privacy:

    • Only the logged-in account owner can view photos and videos in their personal gallery.

    • Navigation search history and saved addresses are now stored per profile, keeping your data personal.

  • Towing & Drive Modes:

    • You can now choose any Drive Mode when towing a trailer or bike holder.

    • (Note: Cars with air suspension will still keep a standard ride height and limit damper settings for legal safety reasons.)
